Derivatives require specialists and it’s the only thing our derivatives experts do.
Derivatives require specialists and in Anchor Securities Private Wealth the use of derivatives is not something an advisor “also does”, but rather a discipline that is the “only thing” our derivatives experts do. Derivatives can do many things: provide the ability to gear and enhance returns, hedge positions or currencies and profit from negative views; but in every instance the client needs professional assistance.
On the Anchor Securities Private Wealth derivatives desk we trade in CFD’s, Currency and Commodity futures as well as International futures.. At the extreme, for example, clients can gear up to ten times on their investment, but in this instance you need our experts watching the screen every minute.
As a business without a legacy or old systems, we offer the best systems and platforms available and clients will experience seamless administration and reporting, which is especially important in the world of exotic instruments.
Individuals can choose between three levels of service, depending on their appetite for involvement in the process:
- Execution only. You make the calls and we execute.
- Pro-active advice. You make the decision in consultation with an Anchor Securities Private Wealth advisor, who proactively provides money making ideas. An annual advice fee is charged for this business.
- Discretionary mandate. You leave it up to us. Anchor Securities Private Wealth will manage the client’s assets in line with a bespoke mandate. Either a traditional management fee (between 1 and 1.5%), or customized performance fee (20% of out-performance against a benchmark) will be levied for this service. The latter is to reward superior performance, and to align the business interests with client’s interests.
